Our commitment to you

Many learning center franchises claim to provide one-on-one, customized tutoring, but a close examination of their practice reveals that their offering is neither one-on-one, nor is it customized. These learning centers have a prescribed style of instruction that every student follows. The students are tested, put in a group of about three students per teacher, not all working on the same content or goals, and then complete worksheet materials provided by the learning center. At Thinking Caps, we have a different perspective regarding one-on-one, customized tutoring. Your child receives one-on-one, undivided attention, using hands on materials (where applicable) to assist in their grasp of concepts.

Our Philosophy

At Thinking Caps, we embrace a tutoring philosophy that emphasizes the most effective route to subject matter mastery. Our learning consultants work one-on-one in your home where the child feels most comfortable, and gives undivided attention. Because our learning consultants are educators with state and national education credentials, we are able to match each child’s learning style and provide the content necessary for your child’s success in school.
